He has a total of 10 years of experience in the Hearing Healthcare industry, 3 of which were spent running a successful Earmold Laboratory. He actively pursues continued education from several sources, including the College (CSCPBC), manufacturer events, symposiums, and online courses and research.
Steve focuses his patient care on the patient. His communication is focused on creating a partnership with his patients. He informs, educates, and advocates for his patients. He is passionate about patient care, and his expertise, communication skills, and level of care set him apart from other practitioners.
His most memorable patient success story involves a patient who was an elementary school teacher with long term single-sided deafness. She could not hear her young students when the students approached her from her deaf side. After fitting her with a CROS system, she could easily hear her students from all angles. She was so moved by the experience she broke down and cried tears of joy!
In his spare time, he is an avid outdoors person, enjoying the simple things in life such as hiking, biking and kayaking.
