Meet Shivpreet Baidwan, RHIP, NBC-HIS

Shivpreet Baidwan was born and raised in India and moved to Ottawa, Canada in 2004. She completed her B.Sc. in Audiology and Speech Therapy at Post graduate Institute of Medical Education & Research, Chandigarh in India in 1998 and Hearing Instrument Practitioner program from Grant MacEwan university of Edmonton in 2008. She has been in the hearing health industry for about 21 years.

Shivpreet chose to become a Hearing Instrument Practitioner because she really enjoyed spending time with her grandparents and found this profession very fascinating, as it involves working with diverse groups of people. It feels very rewarding seeing people improve their communication with their loved ones and quality of life. She lives in Nanaimo with her husband and 2 wonderful kids. In her spare time, she loves walking local trails with her family/friends, watching movies/shows, cooking and gardening.
