Meet Shella Bolivar, RHIP

Shella Bolivar graduated from George Brown College as a Hearing Instrument Specialist and did her placement in Toronto. She then worked in Newfoundland as a Hearing Aid Specialist and has been in the hearing industry for over 4 years.

Being a hearing aid specialist is extremely rewarding to Shella. Seeing how hearing loss has affected the life of clients and their loved ones, and then how each appointment improves their quality of life when they hear and participate in conversations with their family and friends is wonderful. She finds joy seeing their expressions when they first put on their hearing aids and hear sounds that they haven’t heard in a long time.

Shella’s favourite thing about being in the Hearing Health Care Profession is collaborating with other Health care professionals, connecting with people, learning about peoples’ hearing journeys, and sharing their lives through sound. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
