Joanne McDonald, RHIP
Registered Hearing Instrument Practitioner
Meet Joanne McDonald, RHIP
Joanne McDonald was born and raised Ontario and moved to Victoria to go to university after high school. She completed her B.Sc. in Biology at the University of Victoria in 2002 and the Hearing Instrument Practitioner training program from the International Hearing Society in 2007. She chose to go become a Hearing Instrument Practitioner because it combines her love of science and working with people. She loves helping people hear better and feels it is very rewarding to see others improve their communication with loved ones and their quality of life. She lives in Sidney with her husband and her wonderful senior German Shepard. When not at work helping people hear better, she can be found petting dogs, hiking the local trails, and bird watching.
