Meet Carol Fraser, BC-HIS

With 24 years of experience in hearing healthcare, Carol began her journey through on-the-job training in New Glasgow.  She remains committed to professional growth by attending meetings and completing online courses to stay current with best practices and advancements in hearing technology. Prior to entering the hearing field, she built a strong foundation in healthcare as an Orthopedics Administrative Assistant, Ophthalmology Technician, and Administrative Secretary for several general practitioners. Her dedication to patient care has earned her recognition within the industry, including two trips to Beltone conferences in honor of her commitment to patient hearing health care.

Deeply rooted in her community as a lifelong resident, she has earned the trust of generations of patients—many of whom are referred by family and friends. She is passionate about delivering compassionate, timely care and works to ensure patients receive the support they need as their lifestyles and financial situations evolve. One of her most meaningful experiences involved an elderly farmer who, after receiving hearing aids, was finally able to hear the birds he and his late wife once fed together each morning. That emotional moment affirmed for her that providing hearing care is not simply a transaction, but a gift that restores connection and quality of life. Beyond the clinic, she actively participates in local seniors’ fairs and provides educational demonstrations in nursing homes, equipping staff with care packages and tools to properly maintain hearing aids. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys line dancing and attending Zumba classes, bringing the same energy and enthusiasm to her personal life as she does to her patients.
